If you ever wondered how big my mermaids actually are, here is the answer 
I made a bunch of sketches and concept arts for her until I got a good one, and I'm really happy with her now.
She is made almost entirely without red tones, except for her mouth. The sketch I posted on facebook was compared to a leviathan, and I'm perfectly okay with that. ^^
